Meet Steve - Owner & President
Steve Kane has worked in the Roofing & Waterproofing business for over 37 years. He started in 1982 selling US Intec’s torch-down products and GAF’s, Built-up Roofing products at Mile High Roofing Materials in the Denver metro area. He moved on to work for Westile in 1986 where he learned the application of concrete tile roofs and plaza decks. In 1998 he moved to moved Ft. Collins and managed Brookhart’s Wholesale Roofing. The distribution company grew rapidly through the mid 90’s. In 1995 ABC Supply Company, a National distributor purchased the three Brookhart’s Wholesale distribution locations.
Steve moved into roofing manufacturing in 1996 and worked for Grundy Industries until the Henry Company acquired them in 2000. He moved up the Henry ladder quickly and became the Western Regional Sales Manager in 2004-2007. An opportunity came for Steve in 2007 to be the commercial sales manager for Fowler & Peth, Inc. He oversaw the commercial distribution business for 8 branches throughout CO, WY and Western NE. In November of 2011, Beacon Roofing Supply, a national distributor purchased Fowler & Peth.
Steve had always wished to run his own business. That opportunity presented itself to Steve in May of 2012. Several vendors approached Steve and wanted to know if he would rep their commercial product lines. After deliberating the idea, Steve made the decision to start his own independent rep company and Steve Kane’s Sales & Consulting LLC was created.
The Company will celebrate seven years in business in May 2019. Steve Kane’s Sales handles ten commercial product lines, including Air Barriers, Cover Boards, Sealants, Roof Coatings, Pavers, Wall Insulation and Waterproofing products in Colorado, Montana, New Mexico, and Wyoming and the El Paso market.
Steve brings a wealth of knowledge to his clients. He has long term relationships with Architects, Consultants, Contractors, and Material Distributors. Steve prides himself in helping building owners and general contractors find the right products for their commercial building.

Hannah Kane has worked for Steve Kane Sales & Consulting for almost 2 years.
Hannah has worked in the sales industry for 5 years. Her attention to detail and product knowledge are driving forces in her passion for the industry. Hannah reps multiple product lines including Chem Link, Mid States Asphalt (MSA) which includes Trumbull Asphalt, Blue Ridge Wood Fiber cover board, and Greenlink Pipe Stands.
