NWiR DENVER & CSI DENVER 2022 HOLIDAYS

Happy Holidays!

We hope you are enjoying this time of year with coworkers, friends, & family! We recently celebrated the Holiday season with two of the organizations we are a part of here in Colorado.

National Women in Roofing Denver Chapter

&

CSI Denver Chapter

Here’s a little blog post about the fun we had celebrating with each organization this year.

Hannah has been a member of National Women in Roofing Denver for 4 years & will be the Chair of this excellent organization next year. Pictured below is the 2021 Board —

Briana Nelson with Core Contractors, Stephanie Pouse with Brahma Roofing and Construction, Erika Girard with Stonescape Roofing, Anna Swiontoniowski with Johns Manville, Hannah Kane, and Lauren Morley with R3NG.

National Women in Roofing is a volunteer-based organization that supports and advances the careers of women roofing professionals. NWiR provides networking, mentoring, education and industry recruitment opportunities from the rooftop to the boardroom. Through a commitment to connect and empower women in roofing, NWiR members contribute to the overall betterment and professionalism of the roofing industry.

We had a lot to celebrate this year after growing our Chapter’s education, meetings, network, and relationships. What better way to celebrate with amazing women in the roofing industry than to host a Christmas party featuring —

casino games, food, drinks, & prizes!

We had a great turn out with a variety of industry professionals & truly great people. Between the Craps, Blackjack, & Roulette, I’d say we all spent at least $1,000 in fake money.

Thank you to everyone who attended and everyone who makes our NWiR Denver Chapter so great! You can learn more about NWiR HERE & stay tuned for another blog post in January about them.

The overall mission of CSI is to advance building information management and education of project teams to improve facility performance. The Institute grew quickly to include private sector specification writers, design professionals, facility managers, constructors, manufacturers, material suppliers, and more. These construction professionals continue to collaborate today as CSI members to promote education, coordination, and cooperation among all parties in the vast construction industry in order to create outstanding facilities.

Michael Stoner, Jon Willis, Jeff Hamby, Hannah Kane, Steve Kane, Dean Leschek, Janice Curley, Mitch Denman, and Rachel Grissop. (Not everyone on the board is pictured here)

And yes, we are all holding AXES! We hosted our Holiday event at Bad Axe Throwing in Denver & it was a definite hit with everyone. We wanted to do something creative and are so happy with how it turned out.

How can you not have a good time with —

Good people, pizza, & axe throwing!

We are grateful to be a part of CSI Denver and have so many fantastic people in our lives through this organization! We had a lot to celebrate this year as well with our Members, Virtual Meetings, Education Days, Golf Tournament, & 2022 Planning.

As you can see, a lot of fun was had at our Holiday event!

A special shoutout to Steve Kane & Rachel Grissop for taking the lead on organizing & putting this event on! Everyone had a great time & appreciated you both. Also, thank you to our CSI Denver Sponsors!

Thank you for stopping by our blog to read about our recent Holiday Events. We would love to share more about both of them & give you more information if you are interested in attending an event or joining!
